A Modified Model Predictive Torque Control with Parameters Robustness Improvement for PMSM of Electric Vehicles

Model predictive torque control with duty cycle (MPTC-DCC) is widely used in motor drive systems because of its low ripple and good steady-state performance. However, the selection optimal voltage vector calculation duration are extremely dependent on accuracy parameters. In view this situation, A modified MPTC-DCC proposed paper. According to variation error between measured value predicted value, parameters calculated real-time. Meanwhile, reference adaptive (MRAC) adopted speed loop eliminate disturbance caused by real-time update parameters, through which parameter mismatch suppressed effectively. The simulation experiment carried out MATLAB / Simulink software dSPACE experimental platform, corroborate principle analysis correctness method.
